For most businesses, there is a “season.” For example, for those selling clothing or personal items, you plan ahead of time, so your inventory is delivered to address the actual seasons. When you do this, you hire a firm such as The Attitude Group to help you plan your social media, advertising, and public relations. If you are not part of a chain, you may even want help with a local event to promote your seasonal items. For example, for clothing store, you may want to hold a “mini-fashion show” to show off your items to potential customers. To keep costs low, perhaps you can hire local beginner models and find a way to donate monies or partial proceeds from items sold from the event to a charity so you can garner local publicity, while having the costs associated with the event as tax-deductible. It could be coupled with publicity and media relations.
Social media management outreach and advertising creation and placement conducted for you by The Attitude Group. If you sell candy or specialty food items, for example, you know your seasons are based on holidays and other events.
There is no question, you have a competitive environment, but with the right help from the right team, you can stand out among your competitors.
But targeting your audience may be demographic, similar to the way insurance companies target those on Medicare with supplemental insurance to help cover costs. The same approach may apply to the release of a song or album by an individual or group.
Restaurants and bars can target their audiences by holidays and events. For example, Sports bars attract a certain demographic based on the season and the sport. Restaurants can promote new menu items and holidays. Many restaurants offer special pricing, for example, for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and New Year’s Eve. But all of this must be planned in advanced with enough time given to reach your target audience. This can all be done with a plan or program put in place with the help of The Attitude Group.
Non-brick-and-mortar businesses need to focus on their service or product. Product could be based on age or need, services are year-round, but can be targeted to specific audiences’ needs. For example, travel agencies and online travel websites may want to focus on spring and other breaks to attract new business. Then, there are broader areas such as high-travel times for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Regardless of your business type, you do have target audience. You want your business to grow. The Attitude Group wants to help you make it thrive.
